Our history
Created in 1990 in Brittany, AQ Private Label has developed and increased its skills over the years.
AQ Private Label is a division of Laboratoire Aquatonale, dedicated to subcontracting. At its inception, the objective of the Aquatonale Laboratory was to offer effective marine care products to institutes.With as a priority, an undeniable quality for a complete customer satisfaction. In order to complete our offer, we have subsequently developed a range of body cosmetic products, to support customers with professional products and sales.
The development of our skills
In order to best meet the needs of consumers, the Aquatonale Laboratory expanded, in the 2000s, its range with thalassotherapy products, in powder or ready-to-use paste. With our development on the market of specific marine care and for the sake of differentiation, quality and innovation, we decided in 2008 to develop a range of dermo-cosmetic care.
In 2017, Aquatonale acquired Entre Mer et Terre, a company committed to enhancing our marine natural heritage. From this marriage between the two companies emerges the idea of combining cosmetics and oyster shells: this is how innovative cosmetics and hygiene products are born, in powder form. The Aquatonale Laboratory is a pioneer in the field of powder cosmetics based on powder of white oyster shells and marine clay of Moutiers-en-Retz.
Today, our skills and resources allow us to manufacture cosmetic products from A to Z: creams, serums, masks, dermo-cosmetic products, powder products based on oyster shells or marine clay, algae, salts as well as body and bath products for your well-being.
The development of our production tool
The evolution of our offer is accompanied by a constant improvement of our production tool. In 2005, in order to move from an artisanal to semi-industrial stage, we doubled our operational surface to evolve in a 3000m² building in Allaire, in Morbihan.
In a constant search for innovation and performance, 2015 was the year of robotics. We have installed a robotic island in our packaging area.
In 2021, we are launching the construction of a new building dedicated to storage, which allows us to expand our production and packaging workshops.
